A huge thank you to Penguins against Cancer who have donated £5,000 to the Fortuneswell Cancer Trust from the funds raised by their annual Penguin Peloton event, which this year involved cycling 548 km (341 miles) distance and 3460 m of ascent in 4 days from Guys Hospital via Brittany and Normandy and back to Guys Hospital, an amazing effort. The donation was made to us in recognition of the excellent care one of their number had received on the Fortuneswell Ward at Dorset County Hospital when suffering with complications from bowel cancer a few years ago.
