Skydive raises over £3,000
Tom Burnham and his two sons, Joe and Dan, decided to celebrate his 70th Birthday by jumping out of a plane. They wanted to raise funds for the Fortuneswell Cancer Trust as Tom has been undergoing Chemotherapy at the Unit and can’t speak highly enough of all of the staff who have been caring for him. Tom and his wife Sally set up a Justgiving page and have raised an amazing sum of over £3,000 with funds still coming in. They both made a special visit to the unit to meet 3 of the committee and to present a photo of the Skydive to the staff. Tom said “It was a thrill at the end of the day and one of the best things I have ever done”.
