An enjoyable and successful Race Night was held at the Lugger Inn on April 1st to raise funds for the Fortuneswell Cancer Trust. Organised by Lauren Carroll in memory of her granddad Norman Amey who accepted treatment from the kind and professional staff of the Fortuneswell Unit and the Fortuneswell Ward at Dorset County Hospital. A total of £ 3591.52 will be put to good use for the benefit of patients and nurses. Grateful thanks are offered to the very generous sponsors of the event, and to all who attended on the night, with particular thanks to Liam and his staff at the Lugger Inn.
