Beaminster Young Farmers boost for Fortuneswell Cancer Trust

In six months of fundraising, starting with carol singing last Christmas and ending with a tombola, Beaminster Young Farmers raised £500 for the Fortuneswell Cancer Trust.

Angus Staples, Chairman of the group (centre left) is shown presenting the cheque to Fortuneswell Trustee David Evans (centre right) at their recent club meeting.

Angus said “We enjoyed working hard for such an important local charity and are delighted to know that the money will go towards improvements to Cancer Services at Dorset County Hospital.”
